Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services of Brya Services LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our website and notary services.
2. Description of Services
Brya Services LLC provides mobile notary services, loan document signings, apostille and authentication coordination, Remote Online Notarization for eligible documents, and I-9 employment verification as an authorized representative. Services are performed by commissioned notaries public in accordance with the laws of the state where the notarization occurs.
3. Not Legal Advice
We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. Our notaries cannot draft, select, explain, or advise on documents. If you need legal guidance, consult a licensed attorney.
4. Client Responsibilities
- Provide valid, current government-issued photo identification for each signer
- Present complete documents and refrain from signing before the notary arrives
- Ensure signers are willing, aware, and able to understand the transaction
- Provide accurate appointment details, including address and access instructions
- Arrange any additional witnesses required by the document or state law
5. Fees and Payment
Fees consist of state-regulated notarial fees plus travel and convenience charges, which are quoted before dispatch. After-hours, weekend, holiday, and emergency appointments may carry a surcharge. Payment is due at the time of service unless invoicing terms have been arranged.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
You may reschedule or cancel at no charge before a notary is dispatched. Once a notary has traveled to the appointment location, a trip fee may apply, including when a notarization cannot be completed due to missing identification, an unavailable signer, or an incomplete document.
7. Right to Refuse Service
A notary must refuse to notarize where identity cannot be verified, where the signer appears unwilling or unable to understand the transaction, where the document is incomplete, or where the notarization would violate applicable law.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from or relating to our services is limited to the fees paid for the service at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including delays caused by third parties such as government agencies, lenders, or couriers.
9. Confidentiality
We treat document contents and client information as confidential and disclose them only as required to perform the service or as required by law. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of our website or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
